Telling the truth may hurt but it cures. Telling a lie can temporarily cure but destroy the relationship forever.
my answer? that depends on what kind of lie and the situation.

That is true too that what i do usually in all of my relationships but what if it will cost you a valuable person

@engineer92 If that person is truly valuable and that person values me too, then he or she should know that I am telling the truth for his or her own sake and not to destroy our relationship.

It depends on the friend and situation. So far, I've been honest with my friends and one time it finished the relationship. I don't regret, but I think the end wouldn't be so harsh if I were more diplomatic. With time, I've learned how to communicate better and in a gentler way.

Same i've always been honest with my friends but i found that diplomacy is a good situation in many cases
