I sure it is not new to all of you that some real guys do wear nail polish. For some, it is a part of being emo in the society. They seem strange in the eyes of people. However, it is the way they express one’s feelings in their own world. I also experienced this kind of fashion style but it is inevitable to see people from tribes in cordillera to have their nails be polished. In 2014, I worked as a Community Facilitator in the cordillera of my country and seen the local young guy tribes wearing nail polish to their finger and toe nails. At first, I was really laughing about it. But then, it seems they were so comfortable having it. Does it really strange to see real guys wearing it?

One of my grandsons, the one who is studying guitar, uses polish in one hand and the nails (carefully groomed) are longer in one hand than in the other.
It has nothing to do with fashion.

@marguicha It is a part of having their own way of style. I don't think there is nothing wrong to have nail polish especially for youngsters.

@Shavkat In his case he needs to have his nails very short in one hand and very long in the other. The nail polish (transparent) is to protect them from breaking.

It seems a little strange to me, but it should had looked more strange in antique days, when a man was admired for being strong and well built, while women were seen more natural wearing colorful dresses and all kinds of things to make them prettier.

@quantum2020 During the old days, it will definitely looks strange.
@Iam_jauntyen I think colorless nail polish is fine instead of wearing red, black, etc.

@Shavkat oh, when i see a muscular man with so many muscles to flaunt, i think the other way around; maybe he is gay.
wearing skirts in males is common in a certain country where they play the bagpipe, is that in Austria? putting on make-up is done by the rockstars, so i think there is no problem. if you are certain of your sexuality, no matter how you dress, it shows that you are a male.

I don't know, but I think nowadays it's considered quite common for some men to make up, dress up or have nail polish. I don't freak out, but just think they are brave to do what they like to do, though some other people still think they are weird, as long as they do not disturb others, I think it's totally fine.

It depends. Back in the 90s rockstars sported black nail polish. it didn't bother me at all.

@toniganzon I guess it is a part of their style being a rockstars. I agree, it adds for them to be more appealing to the people.

It's not strange to me. There are men who wear make up nowadays. Maybe it's an expression of oneself or they feel like they're more desirable if they're wearing nail polish.

@greenthumb018 I do think real men celebrities are fine to wear make up. It is a part of being in the spotlight. For the common people, I think it is fine if attending special occasions.

@Shavkat I don't find it strange or anything. I see it but I don't think much of it. :)
