There’s something about the number 7…

# 38 We know how people come up with all kind of ideas for usernames. Some simply use their names, others use nicknames or anything their imagination would come up with. Some use only letters, or combination of letters and numbers, or even all just numbers only – I’ve seen a string of 8 or 10 numbers as usernames and they make me feel like I’m calling a phone number or something when I mention them... There are endless possibilities for any combination of letters and numbers as usernames. The numbers can appear on the front, in the middle, at the end, or even in between the letters. People add any digits of number to the letters - most commonly is 6-digit to signify a birth-date or 4-digit for a meaningful year, just to point out a few instances... Short digit number in addition to letters is often used too. I just happen to notice there are more myLotters who have the number 7 at the end of their usernames than any other number... Let me name 7 of them – vandana, tampagirl, suziecat, jstory, bunnybon, brenda, and last but certainly not least, sishy... Image credit: Pixabay

Years ago I'd go with mom to New Mexico so she could play the slot machines which always had the #7 as a winning number if you got 3 in a row, it became mom's favorite number. Do you play the slot machines?

Have you been lucky enough to win @sishy7 ? Ma never did but she loved playing and I'd go with her when ever I could given my work schedule of course.

It's been a very long while since I last played the slot machines... Yeah, I remember how one would hit the jackpot when the numbers landed on 777

@rebelann Not the jackpot, but I probably won just small amount here and there... My mother-in-law loved playing too... When we went to Vegas, I had to accompany her to play the slot machines because my husband would rather sleep in the hotel room... And she could really play for hours and hours...

@marlina Yeah, it's hard to hold on one particular number as a 'lucky' number as I'm not even sure such thing exists...

Yes, I was able to name at least 7 members with a 7 at the end of their usernames as mine. But there are a lot more with 7 anywhere in their usernames or 7 as one of the digit numbers in the usernames (i.e. 17, 27, etc).

I have always wondered about your 7! But then it dawned on me when you wrote about special July . . . is that part of it?

I didn't come up with it because of that... but now that you mentioned it, July was kinda the 'start' of my 7... I was surprised when I read Joanne's response - I thought it's great how someone else had the same idea when choosing a number... (I know you'll be wondering about something else once you find my reason)

Maybe seven is used a lot because it seems to be a lucky number. Or someones favorite number. I don't use 7 and most likely never will. But I never noticed how popular the number 7 really was.

Few years ago, I dreamed 777. I thought it's a lotto number so I buy lotto tickets of that number but it didn't came out as a winning combination on that day. But you know, after three days, the numbers 777 came out as the winning number. I was so sad for I was not able to buy lotto tickets for that numbers on that day.

Oh no, you've missed it only in a matter of few days... You should have kept buying tickets for the same combination every day until it came out a winner...
