What do you like to eat in the cold winter?

In fact until this Tuesday it is still very hot here. But since yesterday the temperature has dropped a lot and it is cold now. Perhaps this time the winter is really coming. I like to have the hot pot in such a cold day. As the foods will not cold after you serve them. Do you like to eat something special in cold weather?

Today , it is cold again and gloomy . Hence , my mouth wanted a soup based pork with veggies to pair with my packed rice . And when i went down at 10:00 this morning to buy my early lunch i saw on display just what i am craving for .

Now , i am so full , i am waiting for the bell in alittle while for lunchbreak of one hour so i can already have my power lunch .

@youless Usually , it gets so cold when the snow in Siberia is already thawing and the wind blows to the Philippines . Our windows are all closed when we sleep at night and no electric fan . We have thick blankets and hubby and i are embracing each other for warmth when we sleep .

How much more if we have winter here !

In cold weather I like to eat Russian borsh, it`s a thick soup from tomatoes and beets, with chicken or beans

Also I like to eat pies with pumpkin,apples. During winter I also noticed, that I feel like eating more potatoes

I am in Hubei province, Central China. Here people like griddle cooked food, similar with hot pot, but less liquid, the soup is very thick, even no soup, just oil and food materials in the griddle.
