I have a lunch date

My fiance is going to meet me for lunch. There is a new restaurant that just opened that we've been wanting to try so since he isn't working today we thought we would just make a date of it.
It is also nice to go out for lunch because it breaks up the work day a bit.

What a nice idea. I think that more of us should follow your example!! I will be on the look out for any new restaurants that open up in our area... something fun to look forward to!!

It is like an English pub. So pub styled food but very good quality. I have the fish tacos. They were amazing and I am not really a fish eater. We had a good time. He has a their special burger and he liked it.

They offer a variety of good. I had some fish tacos. They were really good.

When I am at work I only take half an hour or less for lunch, so don't have the time to go out to a restaurant. Occasionally however, I do have a 'business lunch' which can last a couple of hours. Can't call them dates though because they are usually with other men.
I hope you managed to enjoy a dessert too for afters.

I only usually have a half hour but oh Fridays I get a longer lunch. No i didn't have dessert.

Yes I do believe in taking break away from work-place which always refreshes our mind and the moment you step into office after a break, you tend to see a different environment altogether ..
On a related note, one of my friend shared this tip to me at work-place for refreshing your mind during your office hours. This is called 20-20-20 rule. For every 20 minutes you will have to look at a point which is 20 meter away from where you are standing for 20 seconds. This will surely bring in a fresh breath in you and this also helps a lot for taking away the strain on your eyes.. this is somewhat away from your topic but it helps for a good break.
