Has anybody ever said to you, "are you nuts?" Probably someone must have said that to me somewhere but I don't remember. Anyways, I'm not nuts as far as I know but I could be?
However, I do like nuts and I keep hearing how important they are to health and so I will be eating more nuts in the future. Have you heard that about nuts? Or, is it those that sell nuts that are pushing the idea that nuts are healthy? Well, they sure taste good.
I just bought some glass jars to keep my nuts in as plastic leaches chemicals.
So, how do you feel about nuts? Do you like them? Do you eat them? How and why? Do you have a favourite nut? Who me? Well, I'm honoured to be your favourite nut!

@1hopefulman No, I wasn't aware - and did you know that coconuts are also nuts?

I love nuts and I am nuts. When people usually ask me "are you nuts?" They always get the same response: Yes i am! And they'd be surprised. But that's the truth. I believe i'm nuts, i'm crazy! That's what makes me a fun person to be with. NO boring day with me.
Not psychotic though.

Your probably more nutty the a jar of peanut butter!
When I was young, in Italy, I would go in the forest in the mountain and there were a lot of walnut trees and the nuts would be all over the ground and I would feast on walnuts. Fresh walnuts with fresh bread, yummy!
Here is another meal I love (almonds or walnuts or both, celery, avocado and apples). Yummy!

@1hopefulman when I was a kid, the only nuts I knew were peanuts, and coconuts (which is not a nut at all)! Then I was introduced to almonds, walnuts, pelinuts, and pistachio nuts. I like pistachio and almond the most.

That way you can have all kinds of nuts at once. It seems that nuts are also good in variety.

@LadyDuck Well, taste is taste and we all differ. Do you think selenium is available in other foods?

Yes, I finally switched to glass as it is supposed to be a healthier way to keep them. I found some nice glass jars but one can wait till they buy something in a glass jar and use that. Stay nutty by eating nuts!

Yes, almonds and walnuts seem to be the best and also we should eat one Brazil nut a day for the selenium or so they say. I try to buy organic and raw when I can get them.

I am a nut! I love them. I have recently went back to nuts as a snack and my sugar is doing much better. Yesterday I had almonds. Today I had seeds, sunflower seeds.

When I was a kid, we could buy peanuts, but the latest years I have understood how healthy they are, so I eat nuts every day. I guess sunflower seeds are some kind of nuts too. I eat them in yogurt with chia seeds for breakfast. I also eat berries, in Sweden they are called lingonberries which they call superfruit.. I recently wrote an article and added a link about walnuts..

Yes, nuts contain a lot of healthy nutrients. Some seeds like pumpkin deeds come in a shell much like nuts. Also a peanut is not really a nut but a legume. They say that walnuts are good for our brains, they even look like a brain.

Great! There seems to be a lot of information on the benefits of eating some nuts on a regular basis bur we should not eat more than a handful a day as they have a lot of fat.
