Not a Hypochondriac

I know you guys must think I'm one of "those" considering my posts concerning all of my health issues. But seriously; apparently all of my 60 years of apparent good health have caught up to me because I think I'm falling apart.
Spinal injuries, ruptured appendix, pulled teeth, heart, boobie cyst; jeez, what can we add to all that? Well guess what?! Sunday I'm just sitting on the couch watching TV and was using my fingers as a comb through my hair; when all of a sudden I felt a depression in the skull at the crown that was about 1 1/2 inches long.
I thought; what the hell is that??!!! So I did some research and it could be several things. Vitamin A toxicity, accident, fall, concussion, etc, etc, etc. Nothing of that sort has been of any 'recent' boo-boo.
It did say however that previous trauma from years ago could be the problem. Well considering my spouse had put my head through a wall at the location of 3-light switches, threw me from a moving car, bashed my head with his fists; anything's possible. Soooo....
Tomorrow I have an appointment with the doctor for an x-ray and CT scan to have a closer look. Can they fix something like that? Heck if I know. Just one more thing to add to the list. And no, I'm not a hypochondriac because trust me, I would just as soon not have all this 'fun'.

I'd give anything to trade in this body for the one I had 20 years ago @dfollin .

I do know a few people who really are hypochondriacs....
A rupt. appendix is not unusual..mine ruptured as the surgeon took it out. Most people have teeth pulled. So most of your issues (other than getting beat up( are common.

I hope the CT scan will be reassuring. If that dip has been around for years it may just be how your head is, and no problem. Your marriage sounds awful, you are a brave woman to have kept your sense of humour through so much abuse.

You know the old saying, "Laugh and the world laughs with you; cry and you cry alone?" That's me. I try to be the "glass is half full" person @41CombedaleRoad .

If I start talking or acting goofy here @TiarasOceanView ; we can blame it on the dip in the head.

With your history, it really could be something, but certainly hoping it is nothing.

The xray shows a definite separation of the skull @jaboUK . He's now sending me for a Bone Density Test on the 1st.

Good grief you certainly have had more than your share of ailments. Hope the x-ray & CT show nothing serious.

The skull showed definite separation @Marilynda1225 . I now have to have a Bone Density Test; which I already know is going to be bad. I had one done in 2013 and the guy said the only thing holding me vertical was the muscles that run down either side of my spine. So I know this one won't be good either.

Did that appear just recently then? I do hope that it's something that can be fixed. Your ex must have been a real piece of work. I hope he went to jail.

Yup, Sunday night out of the clear blue @JamesHxstatic . He did, but it didn't do any good. I had to solve the situation with a .22 rifle.

My body went through a lot of physical, permanent damage because of him @Kandae11 . Paybacks are a bit** though because I permanently took him out.
