Ever have a day where you are just exhausted from the morning on?

I had one of those today. I slept well the night before, taught my 8 AM class, and then drove down to my friend's preschool in Berkeley to work for three hours with the littlies. I did fine, but I realized as I was reading an Elephant and Piggy book to four barely-3-year-olds snuggled up with me that I'd just as soon take a nap. I grabbed some BBQ for lunch, did a progress note on my computer, and secretly hoped that my afternoon kid client would cancel. When I called his mom, she said he'd had the flu, and we agreed to cancel for today. Relief! I went to Trader Joe's and scored some essentials. Now I'm ready to settle in and read, play guitar, and crash early.

I have about 365 of those days each year, except during a leap year when I tend to have 366.

The way you felt today is the way I seem to feel most days lately. Just one of the benefits of living with fibro and arthritis. A restful, good night's sleep is something I rarely get.

Fibro would suck, though I sometimes think I have it. But I think I just have arthritis.

Yes, I had that kind of day, too, but from shopping, etc. Fate worked out well for you. Rest up!

I'm pulling an all nighter, so I'm sure I'll be wiped out by morning.

Yes I know what you mean.. I am very exhausted right now but I have a toothache and it has been keeping me up all night so I just kinda feel like a zombie.. if I didn't have this toothache I would be sleeping so hard right now.

@TheHorse That was a very brave thing to do. I suppose at least the tooth would be clean anyway.

I did something bizarre the other night. I bathed the hurting tooth in a 1/3 bleach solution. Bleach kills everything. It felt better by the next day. Yes, I drank a bunch of water after.

I'm still inching along, trying to be productive. I just did a "chi square" analysis of some data I collected in class today. Men are better than women at "spatial rotations" tasks for some reason.

I'm still trying to inch along and get stuff done. But I'm soon to slither to a friend's house and watch the second half on an NBA basketball game. Have you heard of Andrew Bogut?

It happens to have those days recently I have too many of them, I do not know if it's an age related matter or if I have to blame the flu.

There are days when I have had enough sleep but by the time afternoon rolls around I am ready to just drop off to sleep .I usually allow myself about 90 minutes of nap time in the afternoon if I really need it.

I rarely nap. It's happened maybe five times in the last 30 years.

Yes, I've had those days. It usually happens if I have a very active dream cycle. Very cute picture. I hope you got some good sleep last night.
