Good morning. Why are so many people eating at McDonald?
Well today is the first day of lent. Many people eat meat and now they turn to McDonald for a nice fish of fillet sandwich.
This I can see the reason why.I almost forgot that today is the Ash Wednesday.
I do not give up on this. Those days are gone for me.
Have a good day.Photo is public

I have thought about this for a long time. My dad for a period of years was addicted. I mean - ADDICTED to McDonalds. He would go there multiple times in the same day and he would do this 4-5 days a week. Someone once said the appeal of McDonald's is familiarity. You know exactly what it is you're going to get.

@FayeHazel This is not what this all about.People gave up meat.for lunch they can have fish.
It has nothing do with that. Those who are addicted to McDonald go for the fish fry for lent.

@amadeo Oh I'm sorry. I just thought I'd share an experience from my own life. I can tell you that my dad rare to never orders the fish and is (or was at one point) - about as addicted to Mc Donald's as anyone could get. But each to their own. I understand Lent as it is observed here too. Many, many fast food and other restaurants here offer a fish special.

McDonald's fish sandwich is not good at all well that is just my opinion but Hardee's fish is very good and we have fish tacos as well and they sell very good.

I avoid McDonald's like the plague. Not a fan of burgers, so I am not missing anything.

@amadeo it's a fast-food that's supposed to be like an old-fashioned car hop. the employees sometimes wear roller-skates.

I haven't had that fish fillet sandwich in years! I actually like it. Yesterday was a Lenten Friday and I made fish and vegetable for dinner. Homecooked meal is always best.
