Going Fishing, Do you Fish?

I just got my fishing license. I plan to go fishing this evening, or tomorrow evening.
There is a small stream a couple miles up the road and the river is not that far away but I think we will kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.
We will drive down to the next county and put flowers on a few graves and go to that river system, although I love to catch and eat sunfish the Crappie are biting right now.
I could use another day at home cleaning but Tony has been cooped up here and I think it will make him hurt less to get out and do something.
Do you have plans for today?

I use to fish a lot with my Dad in the younger years. I loved it. I haven't done it in quite a few years though.

Hope you enjoy your fishing expedition today and catch some nice ones. Nothing much going on here today as we had quite a few inches of snow (bah humbug)

@andriaperry yeah I would but in India it's not a fashion.. only fewer go for fishing... Because the place where we live is very far from water bodies and we will have to go to other states for fishing

I like fishing because it is very relaxing. It can also help me to be patient Unfortunately here there are not more good places for fishing. Many places need to pay for it. Actually it is just a big pond and you pay for it and go fishing there. The fish you get is just a common fish which you can find from the market. So it is less interesting.

No I have never gone fishing but the post inspired me to write this one:
My sister's house was close to the see and it was just a few walking steps to the beach. I was staying with her before my marriage. We had this pleasant...

We met with our friends in Mt Dora for lunch and walked around town. Was a pleasant way to spend the day.

I haven't fished since the 80's. I just lost interest, I guess.

When I was a little girl, I always went fishing with my younger brother. But after I grow up I have never done that. By the way, I plan to hang out with one of my friends. We haven't seen each other for several months.

You eat sunfish? I've never seen one big enough to eat. We have a stocked pond but we do catch and release. We do it for the fun in the sun not to eat.
