I'll be hitting the road again in an hour to have some good cardio. The last time I jogged was a week ago. While I've been doing my exercises in between, I still feel I need to run more often. I need the exercise and I have a goal with my running buddies to join another run in over a month, this time a longer run compared to the last one. So, I need to run for a cause. If you be so kind, tell me a concern or an advocacy you'd like me to think of, something I can keep in mind. It can inspire me to push harder, take that extra mile. Who knows, the cosmos might grant it to you if more than one person thinks about it. I will run for _____. Fill in the blank, with a short reason. Let's go. thanks pixabay for the photo

Run for you! When I run, I am trying to empty my mind and forget everything else. The best motive is to run for your health, your peace of mind and your strong body.

@Beatburn I am trying to improve because I am not a very good runner! When the weather is good, I run once a week. I had stopped during winter because it was too cold outside and it was raining a lot. What about you?

@besweet I found it effective to set running goals. I plan to join a 10k run in May and I need to run 3 times a week, at least. I also go to the gym once in a while for strength and conditioning.

I will run for any noble cause. But please let me just brisk walk because my left knee is somewhat weak these days.

Good for you and nice to hear you are thinking in ways outside of yourself while helping yourself at the same time. I would run against corruption, but that is me. Seems to be getting out of hand.

Thanks!!! I could also do that, run against corruption. I just don't think anyone will organize that here. We are kinda deep in it.

@Beatburn indeed, but our brain cells should not deteriorate faster than our bodies, for fear of dementia.

That's also a good reason to run. Mother nature needs all the help she can get.
