A Brother Is A Friend

So I signed up for myLot last night after swearing I would never try another writing site again after I had devoted so much time to Bubblews only for them to close with no way of going back and saving my work, I really felt like it was a real punch to the gut. I mean some of my articles I wrote on Bubblews we're pages long and really deeply personal I had thought about saving and printing some of them to put in a binder, but I always said oh I can do that later, well then I found out Bubblews not only closed their doors but there was no way to see my articles again. Anyway my Brother @TRBRocks420 has been a member of myLot for a few years now I think, and he would mention making money and finally I said why not give it a try, I still love to write, and right now I am not doing anything else with my free time besides Genealogy and Family History, which sometimes I need a break from. Anyway for the last two hours or so I have been gone through all of my brother's old posts and reading different memories and stories, seeing different old family photos I had posted on facebook he has reshared here, all of it was a trip down memory lane, then i stumbled upon this http://www.mylot.com/post/2989273/a-brother-is-a-friend and well i teared up, A brother is a friend, and really i don't say it often enough but my brother is deffinitley one of my best friends. When i was born my brother chose my name, at first my mom said he wanted to name me Heman or Prince Adam, finally he said Christopher Robin, my mom settled on Christopher Scott. As early as i can remember my brother was always there, i remember as kids me, my sister Jackie and him would sit around and play what we called Little Ums, which was a mix of all of our toys, and we would pretend they we're different family members. What we had most in common was we both loved Wrestling, i can remember always watching the shows together when i was a kid, and playing with the action figures in our toy ring. I can even remember a few times being put in a headlock lol As my brother got older in his teens I was 4 years younger he started to hang out more with his friends and we spent a little less time together, or I'd have to deal with some of his friends who were kind of annoying at the time.... He started to drink and sometimes it was hard to be around him, but I will say this I have never been prouder of a person in my life than when my brother stopped drinking, i don't think he really knows how upset I got at him sometimes when he was drunk but he overcame that demon. My brother and I have always been close, and I think me and my mom are probably the only ones who truly understand him. He is the most caring and giving person, but if you piss him off you better just leave him the hell alone. It has always upset me anytime someone upsets him because behind his tough guy appearance he is easily hurt, it's something we have in common but where he often times gets angry in frustration at the stupidity of people, i get severely depressed and let in sink in and really hurt me till it really builds up then i do explode with anger. But i know that no matter what happens my brother will be there for me, and i will be there for my brother. I was very scared at 19 years old when i made the decision to finally come out as gay, it was not so much my mom I worried about, but i worried about my brother, my dad, my grandpa, my cousins the men in my family how they would react, but my brother wrote me a letter when he found out, I did not even tell him face to face, and that letter is something I have saved, that letter basically said we are brothers and no matter what happens in life, no matter what I do, who i am or who I am with he will always be my brother and will always be there. I love ya bro, and I can't imagine having a better big brother.
