Good morning and this is the day that one of our maple tree will be coming down. This tree as we figured around 70 years or more. This is going to be weird to have this empty space. They will coming soon. The big snow storm will start in the afternoon. It is going to be a mess with the tree and the snow. I do hope that your day is much better than ours.

Wow that is a huge tree. It will be sad to see it go. I hope you don't get hit too bad with the storm! If you are lucky maybe it will just pass you by. Where are the Spring showers?

It's always sad to see a tree go. Maybe you should plant something in its place for future generations to enjoy.

I hope it wouldn't be harmed by the storm. Or was it? It's already April 1 here that's why , so i figured the storm has passed already. I hope everyone was safe when it passed by.

Its always sad to have to cut down a tree, and one so old. But you were so lucky that it didn't fall on your home in that storm. What will you do with the wood-dry it and burn it yourselves or sell it? I hope that your day improves Fredo

@amadeo That looks upsetting to me, even though part of the tree was very rotted, it was still a living thing. I feel sad looking at the picture, are you all right with it?

It is too bad you're losing the tree. Will you plant a maple sapling in the spot?

I am so sorry for your loss of this tree Was it sick? When Matthew hit SC we lost 16 oak and hickory trees Some of them had began to rot on the inside from ant damage We heat with wood so it has not been a waste And we had some that could have hit our house too But it is still sad to see a tree that is so many years old have to be taken down Hope you are staying warm Iut was in the mid 70's here with some showers
