A Diet That Cures Cancer?

I know of someone who has breast cancer and rather than going through the traditional methods of fighting she has opted to go with the Budwig Diet. Does anyone know of anyone else who has tried this method and whether it has worked for them? Any information anyone can give me would be appreciated. I have seen articles about it on the internet, but any other information you may have would be helpful. Thank you in advance!

There is absolutely no scientific evidence that this diet has any impact on cancer. I hope you'll ask your friend to reconsider. People promoting diets of this type - rather than conventional treatment - are not doing patients any favours. I know it's tempting in the US where many people don't have access to affordable health care that people should want to believe in stuff like this but it's not going to help.

Yes, I'm not pushing for it. I just wondered what others had to say about it.

@Jon2071 Forgive me, I didn't intend to suggest that you were. But presumably somebody told your friend and got her hopes up.

I don't know about that diet , what I do know is that healthy eating can slow its progression.

@MALUSE So true. There are so many different types and causes of cancer. Your diet will do nothing to help you avoid a genetic one, a viral one or one caused by environmental condition.

How long has your friend been using this diet? Has she shown any improvement?
