Relaxing in the Napa Valley

My husband and I spent the weekend in the Napa Valley of California, celebrating the birthday of one of our daughters. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Napa Valley, it is the part of California where the grapes are grown for many types of wine.
Because it is so agricultural, it is a beautiful, restful place to spend time.
We were there to celebrate the birthday of one of our daughters and to spend time with our two oldest granddaughters, who are both in their early 20s.
We ate some wonderful California cuisine, went to a party at the company which manufactures the beautiful bottles for most of the region's top wines, and strolled along the banks of the Napa River.
It was a beautiful, restful weekend and we enjoyed spending time with the Northern California part of our family.

@DianneN - Since our daughter has lived in the Napa Valley for her entire adult life, we have been going there for a long time. It is a lovely place to spend time. We enjoy our visits.
