What do you do when people embarrass you?

The main purpose behind asking this question is that I just want to know, how you react when someone embarrass you.
Because every person reacts different. And in my case, I react very aggressively. Sometimes I give punches on their face and sometimes I give response with my poem.

You reminded me of my school days.I was a stammerer and one one of my teachers and my classmates used to embarrass me almost everyday.But those days I was very timid by nature,so I used to pocket the insult and somehow managed to reach the safety of my home.....Hope,you understand me.Now those days are history.

Yes I can understand. I've also embarrassed several times in my childhood.But as you said that those days are history now. But we should try to make our kids strong and teach them from our experience that how they can handle these situations.

I don't really get embarrassed. I think that's one advantage of growing up with a dad like mine. There's really nothing else that can embarrass me more than he probably would! I might 'facepalm' at my children but I do my best to embarrass them more than they could ever embarrass me :)
I'm not sure what I'd do, to be honest. I suppose it depends who had embarrassed me and in what way.
