Horrible luck... or good luck!?

So I've been missing the past few days, but I'm back now!
Hope all of you myLotters are doing fantastic today!
I lost my wallet two days ago, on a date that I normally have incredibly bad luck, almost as if I'm cursed to have a bad day on that date every year.
At least I always have some sort of excitement then.
After I realized I've lost my wallet I sprinted to the places where I thought I might have lost it and asked people around but it was nowhere to be found.
I had lots of cash, my ID card, bank cards, pictures and dear memos to remind me of previous great experiences with friends, family and my boyfriend.
I wrote on facebook and in some groups with the hope that whoever found it would see the messages and have a good enough heart to return it.
I felt super sick after the sprint and the realization that I might not see it ever again and that I've lost basically all of my money I blocked the card that I had in the wallet and a few hours later I received a call from the bank, saying that the person who found my wallet is waiting for me at one of the branches of the bank in town. I was thrilled! I was still feeling super weak, but me and my friends grabbed a taxi and went to the place, where the kind person was waiting patiently and even shared that he first tried to go check at the address on the ID card, but didn't find anyone there and even left a note and then he went through the trouble of going to the bank and ask the staff to contact me!
There are still great people out there, with a kind heart! I insisted I treat him for all the trouble, but he refused.
On the note however I found his phone and with the risk of being annoying I asked him if he would add me on social media, because I'd still like to repay the good deed.
So now I have to draw something for his mother, who was actually the one who found the wallet and treat him for going through all that trouble to return it to me!
Felt sick for two days cause of the effect the stress had on me. @.@ I'm just wondering if I should consider this a good or bad luck, or maybe a bit of both? :D

@ColdFlame This is so good to know. Of course this is good luck! I can understand the stress you've felt, but as they say, 'All's well that ends well'. What a positive end, and you taking initiative to repay the kind deed is the right & awesome thing to do! :)

Yeah, I choose to see things on th bright side, but the stress that I felt made my body weak for two whole days. I feel responsible to repay the kind deed, otherwise I would have had a lot of trouble and headache to go through... going to the police possibly paying a fine for losing my ID, with money I don't even have since basically everything was in the wallet at the time... It's nice knowing that there are still kind people out there, that would think of others and how they'd get affected before thinking about themselves.

Would call that good luck.
Not many People would go to all that trouble
You have to draw a picture for his Mother?
Its still good luck anyway.
So glad you have got everything back.

Not that I have to, but I want to repay the good deed. His mother found the wallet and he went through the trouble of returning it, by searching for me however he can. So I've decided to draw something for her, since he said she'd really enjoy it and I'll treat him some coffee or drink at some point when he's free to meet.

@ColdFlame In times likes this, we need friends to hold on. I am sure things will bring back double of what we had lost.

Well, there's always some form of adventure and stress on that specific date for me. I believe I might be cursed haha But I might have made a new friend and I got everything back, so it at least ended well.

I'd say little bit of both. There's definitely good people still around.

Yes, I kept hoping that whoever found it has heart and would end up returning it, even though one of my friends made me lose hope for a little while. I was so happy when they called me from the bank to tell me that the person who found my wallet is waiting for me at that branch to return it.
