Is it Possible to Be a Friendly Person and Still Lack in Friends?

That's what I feel about myself in myLot! Here I am reading and commenting on variety of discussions. Here and there, I get reciprocal comments but they are far too less for me to get me ten cents a day. I often feel that I don't have steadfast friends in myLot. Is it because I live in the third world? Is it because I don't write English like native speakers? Are there closed groups in myLot whose members prefer to remain a circle?

@franxav I'm from India, and relatively new to myLot, so as yet, I don't have any opinions, negative or positive. But, if you really feel that way, it pains me.

I live near Kolkata. Wouldn't it be good for both of us to start being friends?

How do you feel the company of friends here?

I just respond to what interests me. I don't do the "respond to me so I'll respond to you" thing on here although many do. Living in the third world and not speaking english like like native speakers doesn't matter as I talk to americans and they don't speak english like an english person

This site is US based and so the time zone factor plays a role. Also many have a following that they had at other sites.

I respond to everyone who responds to my discussions. I do not care who te person is or where they are from.

I don't think I ignore your comments or posts. I certainly hope not. I guess all you can do is persevere and continue to like and comment as much as possible.

@franxav I always enjoy your posts. It is never a problem for me to read what you have to say.

I think it just depends on how busy other people are.

I am not choosy but I take the part of reading which captures my attention. It is also good to practice in making comments or response to my posts.

Just come up with interesting discussions and it wouldn't matter if you were from the North Pole, were ugly as heck and coloured blue! And interact of course, as you are doing.

do not think like that. Are we not here? Are we not your friends. Medium language is not at all a criteria. Sometimes it happens like that. Everyone is having a big circle defined by the term MYLOT..

Oh no no. It's not like that. But I think you can make some change here. People will start recognising you if you upload a picture of yours.

That's the reason I have such thoughts. My last cashout was in February. Since then it is the third month but I am far from the minimum still.

@franxav Atleast you did a cashout once but i am still a beginner and its very challenging to earn but at the same time its very interesting to discuss certain topics and curiosities with people.

For English you needn't to be a native speaker. Indians are good in English and it will not nice to blames any language for not having friends in myLot. Let's be friends.

I literally just started here so I can't really say. As for me, I'll respond to whoever responds to me. I don't care where you're from of if you think your English isn't that great (you're wrong by the way, I find your English is great!). Keep at it, you'll get there!
