Are parents too lenient with their children these days?

Are parents too lenient with their children these days? I am a mum of 4 kids so u am interested in hearing other people's opinions.

@ncwdianne I certainly think so. Parents these days would rather be their children's friend then their parent. In many cases, there is no discipline at all. Then, these same parents wonder why the child is having problems behaving in school.

Children are like demons nowadays. It is difficult to handle sometimes.

Children in general lack training and discipline when it comes to patience, earning rather than being handed to and financial responsibility.
