When does the person loose the status Newbie? How many points do they need?

I find the term newbie a bit demeaning. Do you all mean it as an insult or just a learner forum writer who needs a bit of instruction? What are your thoughts?

For me it means a person who is new to the site. Most of the times (not always) they haven´t read the rules of the site and make mistakes that older mylotters don´t. One of them is to write one or two line posts with little content.

take tje chip off your shoulder as newbie simply means a new user nothing more and if yo u read the guidelines you will be'makng good posts we are friendly here amd helpful too

I don't think much of the term at all. If I am a new member then I know I am a new member. Just enjoy yourself on myLot and respond/post as much as you can.
