What's Your Irrational Fear/Hate?

My childhood best friend had a fear of birds called Ornithophobia. It was a very real fear (she would burst into tears) and she hated going to my place as there were pet peacocks wandering around the lawn. I could not believe how the fear controlled her!

@ncwdianne I had (now, reduced a bit), a very irrational fear of getting electric shock.

I have that fear too. Mt father used to make me put up electric fences while they were going. I was petrifled while doing it. He would yell at me for being too slow.

My friend had that (I really felt for her). She said that once she had kids they forced her to go out of the house. She said sometimes she would be at the supermarket and a panic attack would start. She would leave the trolley full of Groceries in the supermarket isle and run out to the car and drove home if it did not stop. Her mum has the same condition and is house bound.

@Mike197602 I do. I'm not extremely bad about it, but situations where I feel vulnerable really get me.

I have a fear of falling. Whether this fear is due to my having Cerebral Palsy, I don't know.

I have phobia too... But I already overcome it as earlier as 7 I guess.... I almost forgot about it until it hit me again.... But I am glad that it was just and hoping that it is just a mild phobia... What I do... I don't avoid those big sculpture that I saw on street and keep walking even if I thought I'll faint.
God bless.

I hate roaches. But my ultimate fear is Trypophobia. I can't even look at it. Those spreading posts and feeds about holes in the skin creeps me badly. lol

@homebasedbobbie Thanks for sharing. I have never heard of a phobia of holes. I imagine bee hives would be quite bad then. Are you able to treat it?

I used to be afraid of dogs. Still don't like them very much, but will tolerate friendly ones.

They is a psychological problem. This can be cured. Sometimes they come out of this fear without their notice even.

I understand that fear. I was bitten by a shark and had a chunk bitten out of my lower leg. I could not swim in the sea for at least 5 years. I will now go out up to my knees and I am always actively on the lookout in the water for stingrays and sharks.

I'm mostly scared of insects, arachnids, and clowns. It's irrational but I feel that many other people have a similar phobia when it comes to these things.
