Rain's a coming.

I just hung a load of laundry out on the line in the yard, and of course as soon as I did so it clouded over again. I'm not totally surprised, rain was in the forecast this weekend. But when I started doing laundry it was clear and sunny. Oh well, if it does rain, the clothes will just get another rinse. :P

That is the way I look at it too, -- an extra rinse wouldn't be a bad thing.

@thislittlepennyearns It does, but recently we have been experiencing a little too much of it. Four days of rain is beginning to get me down - I need to see some sun.

If the clothes gets washed again by the rain water will they not smell mouldy. We experienced this quite often over here.

I a sending the rain to you we have had almost 4 inches in 16 hours...and it's not letting up. I have not hung up laundry in my life. My parents did that, never owned a dryer.

I loved it when I could hang my clothes outside. I love the smell of sheets dried outside on my bed. I'm too lazy now, I throw them in the dryer. We had so much rain in my area this week, it rained in one day what it usually will rain in a month, some flooding but I live up high on a hill...driving in it to get to a doctors apt, was not fun.

I would never be able to hang laundry outside. I'd be too paranoid that it was going to rain or a bird would crap on it or something.

It's still nice and sunny here in Gainesville, but rain is in our forecast today. So, whatever you get, we'll be getting a couple of hours later! We desperately need the rain, as wildfires are popping up everywhere, but they say it's not going to be enough rain to offer any significant help in stopping the wildfires.
