Just got in bed and was all comfy when i heard the sirens. The is not apartment across the street and there is a fire in one of the bedrooms. There are lots of emergency vehicles there as well as the city bus. They use the bus for people to go in when they evacuate the building. I hope everybody is okay. The fire is now out but there is lots of smoke.

@Happy2BeMe It's good to hear that they are safe. I had a boyfriend many years ago who was a firefighter and I still feel fear when I hear about a fire incident. It's a very dangerous job to fight with the flames.

@besweet Yes it is and it would be worrisome to have a fireman for a boyfriend.

@Happy2BeMe That's good to know. But I do believe that it is better to let the thief gets your things in the house than a fire victim. The people lost their belongings.

There were no injuries and most of the damage is to a bedroom in the top floor apartment. Of course there would be smoke and water damage to the other apartments.
