NEVER TOO LATE?

Is there one thing you would have liked to do years ago but you never got the chance to do it? Even though it is many years later, would you still do it if the opportunity presented itself - or have your priorities changed?
Many years ago, I wanted to own and ride a large motorbike - it didn't happen. Now I think I would much prefer cruising on a luxury liner instead of a motorbike. What was or still is your desire?

Well my youthful ambitions fell to the side when I started picking the wrong people, but when I was 12 I saw a jag in the car showroom and EType and that is what I was going to drive. Needless to say..it never happened.

To pursue a journalism course in college and eventually enter broadcasting. It did not happen.

Although I wouldn't want to do it now my dream many years ago was to learn to water ski. I had a friend who was going to teach me but then I found out I was pregnant with my youngest daughter and our lessons had to be put on hold. Needless to say, I never learned to water ski.

@Kandae11 Yes, years ago I had a keen desire to travel the northern part of my country India, but at that time I had no money, not even a single cent in my pocket.Financial condition of my family was precarious and I was unemployed. My father was struggling to start a small business.

Funnily enough I did own several motorbikes in the past, but for the last 15 years or so I've had a car because I had a lot of things to carry about including two children. Now though I am starting to think that maybe I'll get a bike again, just because I can...

Learn ballet. I am too old for that lol. In 2013,my father accompanied me to a place where they teach adult ballet. But I changed my mind, because most of the students were adults that had training back in their younger years. So, I instead enrolled in Barre. It's pilates, yoga and ballet in one. I attended 5 session but i stopped when I got pregnant.

Not a desire...but if I could, motorbike will do fine for me too. However today I saw an artificial 'bull rider' machine and I probable wouldn't mind trying that. I would have like to add bungee jumping, parachuting, zip lining and flying a helicopter too. In fact, I like storing up new experiences, so I am up for trying and experimenting on things. Wish I had more time (life expectancy) to experience these things.

@Gita17112016 I know what you mean - a high crime rate can do that. These days we are like prisoners behind bars and grills in our own homes.

@Kandae11 I envy you. I wish I had those exposure. I lack the opportunity most of all. The crime rate is so high that we live a very sheltered life. We had a self imposed curfew...which later became a lifestyle.
