Don't plan on getting rich in here, as you won't

I know a lot of people will come in here wondering how they earn, and what they can ern. They need to understand they they only earn from others, and they earn from us.
Interaction is the key in here, as if you want to ern anything at all, you need to interact with others, as if you interact with them, they will interact with you.
Really though, if you are here only to earn, then you are here for the wrong reason, as mylot is much more than that. It is about learning from others, as there are many cultures represented here.
Also, it is about just letting our hair down, and simply having fun, and since i have been back, I have done just that..
I realized when I came back that I had missed all the interaction which is the best part of mylot. The best thing to do is just have fun, and not worry about what you might earn. Remember to interact as much as you can, and have fun, and you will see how great mylot really is.

I think that nobody can honestly say that we do not care about the little money we earn. It's nice to receive some dollars, but this is not the main purpose to be here. I fully agree with you. If people want to make money, there is always the old fashioned way, go out of your house and find a serious job.

@marlina I fully agree. In the beginning I replied, I gave the links to the guidelines and FAQ, but no more now. I checked what to do when I joined. If someone is so dumb not to be able to check the menus I do not see why we should help.

Thanks for your very useful advice and for enlightening us. I thought I may get rich here by getting some new information and knowledge, therefore, I keep visiting the site.

@rosekiss Yes, you are very right that it is a kind of pocket money, which we earn from here. Interacting and learning from others is more valuable than our earnings.

@dpk262006 You are so right, as the earnings are a bonus and not the main reason for being here. I am having so much fun interacting with everyone, and I am learning about different cultures as well.

You will earn, yes, but basically not much, just pocket change, but if you keep at it, it will add up over time. I have always known from the beginning that I was never going to make a lot of money here, but what we do make will add up over time. It is more about having fun and learning from others that is most important.

It seems that the newbies think that they can make a lot of money in here and will post discussions on that, and they just dom't get it. It isn't abou the money anyway, as it all about the interaction, having fun, and learning from thers. The money in here is a real nice bonus and nothing more.

@dodo19 They come in here, posting meaningless discussions, and lots of them, because they think, the more discussions they post, the more money they will make. if they would take time to read the guidelines, then they would know exactly what is required in here to make anything at all. I just hope that the newbies see this and read the guidelines, before they strt posting, to save themselves a lot of answers to useless questions.

If they would only read the guidelines first, they would know that you can't earn that much here. If they intend to get rich, then they should go somewhere else, if there is such a thing. They aren't going to find riches here, but everything does add up over time.

@Shavkat I know that myot won't sustain my income, but it just adds to what I make monthly, and I am happy about that. I just hope that the newbies see this discussion, and follow it and they will know what they should do to earn in here.

Exactly, and I hope that the newbies see this discussion, and realize that if they think they are going to make oodles of money in here, they have come to the worng place. It is about having fun more than amything as well as interacting with others. That is what it is all about, and those that want a lot of money, need to go elsewhere.

@shebish Me either, as I can use it too, lots of it, but just being here and eaarning a little bit such as it is, is better than nothing, and a very nice bonus. I think a lot of newbies expect to ear nots of money in here. If they would just red the guidelines, they would realize tthat it will never happen.

I agree-earnings is not the most important or the best part of the site. Making friends with people around the world is the best thing about Mylot to me. =)

I certainly do agree. I have made lots of friends and learned so much, that it has been a pleasure to be a member here. I just came back recently from a long break, as I needed to get my life straightened out first, and now that I am back, I fully realize how much I have missed not being here. Now, that I am back, I am having fun like before and learning things I never thought I would. It is great to be back and interacting with every one again.

It is a lot of fun isn't it? And learning things is so easy here and I do love all the many cultures, also sharing foods, songs, dancing, beautiful scenery and photos of wildlife.

when i scroll down the most recent discussions and i come across a topc of newbies on how to earn here, i do not read them now, because they seem to have the notion that this site is for gaining dollars only, setting aside the main purpose of active interaction.

I do read them with the notion to respond to help them out, and some do accept the help and others, still want to do their own things. I have seen some that will just post one discussion after another thinking they will earn a lot of money by doing so, and they just haven't read the guidelines. I wish they would, but they think they don't need to read them.

@ridingbet To me, it is a waste of time even starting a discussion, if they aren't going to comment back to the responses they receive. The problem of it is, the discussions are meaningless most of the time, as they are maybe one or two lines, and have nothing to them that anyone would want to respond. When I see more than one discussion from a user, I hesitate to respond to all of them, as I will maybe one or two, but not all of them, basically, because they are of no interest to me and they have no substance.

@rosekiss yes, there are so many here who do many discussions and not going back to those who comment on them, and they think that is how they earn

yes. MyLot is liked by others. Other sites are meant for money. But people visit this site to interact.

The interaction is what I like, because I know that when I interact with others, they will interact with me. Some just don't understand that, and they think they will earn for what they do like posting discussions. Those are the ones that need to read the guidelines, so they know what they should and should not do.

you are so right, as I do enjoy sharing my life with others as well. This is a really good place to do that, and I am not ashamed to do it either. You are right too, that the money might be a very small amount, but it is nice to have just the same. It all adds up in the end, and that is all that matters.

@chrissbergstrom Most people have the concept that if they are going to earn money, it will be enough to sustain them for awhile. They certainly won't find that here, as they will be sorely disappointed if they think that. All they have to do is stay active and interact with others, and the money will come.

There's been quite an uptick in people posting/asking about how much they can earn, and how quickly... hasn't there? I wonder why? There's always those people who try to game the system.

Instead of reading the guidelines, they would much rather post meaningless discussions on it, trying to figure out how to earn. The guidelines tell them everything they need to know. To me it is being lazy to not check on the guidelines. I know when I first started, that is the first thing I did, so I wouldn't have to post meaningless discussions to find out the answers. I just hope that anyone else new in here will read the guidelines first, and stop posting meaningless discussions about it.

That is what mylot is all about, is having fun. We certainly aren't going to get rich in here, but what we do make does add up over time, and that is the main thing. I do have fun while interacting with others, as some of the discussions seem to take on a life of their own.
