My Dog Almost Died Today

When I opened my fb today, my cousin Jane was already waiting for me to chat with me through messenger. I have just woke up and made my mug of creamy black tea when I read her message. Then we chattet.
Angus was not feeling well today. She told me that Angus cried out loud this afternoon before he passed out and his tongue was already out and lifeless. Jane went immediately to him (God bless they were together in my room relaxing) and put her finger inside Angus mouth when she saw that Angus was not breathing. It was her immediate reaction that saved Angus life. Jane and my 2 small nieces were already crying saving Angus. Hugging him and talking to him to come back to life again. They were successful. Thanks God.
You know I am back in Germany and have to leave Angus until next year. I could not stand another death in the family. Jane was the care giver to my late father and now to Angus while my hubby and I are away.
When I hugged goodbye to Angus before I went to the airport last week, he was too busy to roam around the garden. I think it took him a few days to notice my absence. He is lethargic now and I am glad my small nieces and Jane are there to comfort him.
Angus is okay now and has eaten a cracker and taken his water. He walk around the house after he scared the life of Jane and my nieces. I hope he will stay okay. Cavalier King Charles dog has a hereditary disease of the heart and maybe it was his heart. There was nobody in the vet this afternoon but he will be examined as soon as possible.
Do you have a dog who has experienced this crying out and passing out?
The photo of Angus with my niece taken while I chatted with my cousin today.

Thank goodness he is ok and will be examined by the vet. We had a dog who developed seizures and an enlarged heart. He had a few ultrasounds and took digoxin and L-Carnatine. He wound up living almost three years after he was diagnosed. Poor baby. Prayers for adorable Angus and hugs for you.

I also heard stories like that when the dog misses his master. The master left for some weeks, and when he returned and the dog saw him, the dog collapsed! Maybe it was his heart or he was too overjoyed. You should always chat with your dog so he can see you.

Yes, I have heard stories like that too @acelawrites and I have experienced it myself with Angus but he didn't collapsed of joy. Every time we came back, he climbed on us and kept kissing us on our face. I have even posted the scene in my you tube channel. I always talked to him when I videochatted home.
