How ironic, you, an Italian, asking about cups of tea, and me, an Englishman, stating that I only drink coffee (with sweeteners now, though used to be 2 spoons of demerara sugar). You from the land of espresso and latte, me from the country where cup of tea cures all ills! Has the whole world gone mad, is everything getting turned upside down?

well i do not drink tea at all as it harms your body in many ways and it is especially not suitable for people having cardio diseases, and adding sugar to tea makes it more lethal to killing you slowly the best suited tea is green tea or lemon tea (without adding milk)and try avoiding sugar this will benefit in you many ways

I like my tea black with no sugar. I think milk and sugar spoils the taste of tea, especially if it is a delicate tea like Earl Grey.

I always used to have sugar in my tea and coffee, my nan always made my tea with about 3 sugars, it was so sweet. But over time I just stopped taking sugar altogether, so now my tea and coffee is unsweetened, its strange how your tastes change over time.

I have not drank tea in such a long time, it is something I can seem to stomach the taste of these days. When I used to drink tea, I would put 1 sugar in it but after high sugars levels showing up during my pregnancies, I decided to have it without.
I tend to favour coffee, I only have the one sugar in it but will drink it without if we are low on sugar.

I used to put loads of sugar in my tea, at least 3 like yourself. However last summer I went on the Atkins diet and gave up sugar as it is too high in carbs and now I find I don't like the taste of sugar but love the taste of sweetners. I now prefer to have a few sweetners or spoons of powder or granulate sweetner to sugar -it taste sweeter than sugar and with no after taste.
