My Photography - Tree During a Storm

United States
June 8, 2017 4:27pm CST
I took this photo yesterday evening while it was dark and stormy looking outside. I just loved the way the tree was swaying in the wind looked so pretty to me. It sprinkled a little that afternoon but no heavy storms like the days before. I just decided to snap some photos of this tree and of the dogs running around outside. I actually took some very funny ones of Jasper that I will be sharing later on. He loves to run.

Thank you. We have several big trees around the yard like this one. We have a huge pine tree in the front yard but don't worry none of them are close enough to the house to fall on it.

Yes I have seen those Jasper photos and they all are awesome including this one. Yup tree is looking quite different in stormy weather. And the whole area is quite greeny. Love it.

He enjoys it anytime he gets to run around outside or has someone run/play with him. We'll let them outside to use the bathroom and he will just run and run laps around the hour, cars, and the tree in the yard.

I don't know if you would want to have a picnic under it. It is in the old horse pasture and with nothing out there eating the grass it has grown up a lot and is probably full of snakes and other creatures. We do have a big, full, beautiful oak tree in the front yard that would be good for picnics as long as the ants aren't there.

I love the contrast of dark and light as well. It is the first photo of storm clouds I have taken that have turned out good and you could tell the difference between them.

The tree looks as though it is daring the storm clouds to try their worst. Great photo.
