I finally gave up the subject

Living in scary mood this time

I finally decided not to teach the subject assigned to me this semester for it ends at 8:00 in the evening and we have curfew here in Cagayan de Oro.Instead of curfew at 10:00 p.m. , it was moved earlier at 8:00 after a bomber was captured in our city. The said subject I gave up is equivalent to 6 hours to make my load 18 hours per week. Because of this decision, I only have 12 remaining loads good for 12 hours work per week only. What is money after all if I am not happy. We live in uncertainty situation this time due to war in Marawi City. This war zone is nearer in the city where I live, Cagayan de Oro City.Life is so mysterious by the way. Thanks guys and take care all. Image by Pixabay

That's too early but better safe than sorry. Keep safe! I don't feel the tension here though. Our curfew is still 10PM. We do have rebels here nearby but not the Maute kind.

@MGjhaud I always imagine the devil looking face of the old Maute, the founder.He has scary face.Our curfew time was changed because of the occurrence of 5 Maute members captured alternately in CDO.

One would think they would reschedule the class to an earlier hour because of the curfew. You know best which you want to teach and what not. Just be careful and stay safe.

@DianneN, that is right, but when I ask a favor to students to reset another schedule, all of them are in conflict with their other subjects. The subject is 6 units, three hours each meeting twice a week.

If the curfew is from 8 and the subject you are teaching ends at 8, then it should be canceled all together, because your replacement would face the same problem - and the students as well.

@Kandae11 I hope the next teacher can negotiate the school heads. I am not anymore interested.I am at peace now.The scheduling was done before the declaration of Martial law and curfew.

It was a good decision so you can go home earlier; it is nice to be safe than sorry. I wish that situation in Marawi City will end soon.

@YouKnowWho , how we wished, too, to restore peace so lives of people in the war zone will be back to normal;
