Walking got cut short

Philippines
June 19, 2017 7:38pm CST
I would to apologize to my dog because I'm supposed to walk him for an hour this morning. I don't have problem with him when he encounters cats since they tend to run and stay away. But I saw a dog roaming around and it's not one of those sick ones, but this one's different. Looks like the owners let it out. I quickly went back because I don't want my dog to get hurt. He's the only Dog I have left.

I had no choice because the dog might bully him and he won't back down @Nawsheen

Just take a detour and take another path, I always carry a retractable baton or some kind of stick when I walk our dogs, it just gives me a safe feeling.

By the time I sent him home I went to the other path because I was buying breakfast but they were a lot of cats on the side @louievill

I don't want him chasing cats unless they invaded our homes @lovinangelsinstead21

I understand what you are saying about the other dog. I used to love to take my dog on errands with me, but, there are places that do not let dogs come in. I had to put my dog out and chain her so when I came out this dog was at her and no owner in site. I was so scared and did not know what to do and finally the owner showed up but I was so worried about my dog. I can't remember if that dog hurt. I yelled at the guy and told him he needs to keep his dog by him or on a leash. The dog was on a truck and jumped off. I hate people like that.
