I like to sew but I do not have enough time to complete if I start. The problem is I do not have a machine yet so I have to go to my mom house to sew and sometime it will take a months before I can get back to her house. At the moment I'm trying to plan my baby room decoration. I have the colour scheme already but it hard to find the material. Beside that I've been looking for someone who can teach me how to do smocking dress. Can you help me?

Did you not manage to find anything online in the ned? Try your local library, there were load sof books on smocking printed in the sixties and seventies, maybe they will have a pattern book you can borrow?

Thanks for the advice and I had found some interesting pattern. I’ll start doing it once I manage to get the suitable fabric for it. Thanks again.

Smocking is not my expertise, but as far as material have you tried all the fabric sites online, I know you should find what you want. Search the word-fabrics online with a guide at ChaCha.com and let them find the sites for you.

Sewing machines don't have to be expensive. Check out Walmart and Target. Also check your local classifieds for used machines.

My biggest problem is actually getting time to sew. I have so many projects started and no clear days to get on with them

Try scheduling time, otherwise you'll let everything else get in the way. Because of time, why not work on small projects first that are less time consuming and work your way up timewise to the larger ones.
