I Can't Wait To Harvest My Avocados

Thank God, the rain has started visiting us every afternoon. Before the rain finally came, the fruits of my avocado trees were prematurely falling, so that each morning the sight of the fallen fruits would make me so sad. But the trees are now refreshed. My avocado fruits have stopped falling off the tree. This morning, I saw the fruits are getting bigger. Thank God! I am looking forward to making my first avocado recipe from this year's harvest. What are you looking forward to?

I love avocados, I just halve it open, get the seed out and eat it straight by scooping with a teaspoon, I eat it that way even while eating it together with my regular meal.

months back, i bought magnolia's avocado macchiato, thinking my mother will like it. she didn't, said it was too oily. i had to keep eating it to use it all up and to make it palatable, would sprinkle instant coffee over it.

@hereandthere I also bought because I was enticed by Alden and Maine's commercial, but I did not like it also. I did not enjoy same way with avocado with condensed milk.

@salonga Yes, it sure is! I ate a little avocado last night and the taste wasn't that great. Nothing compares to getting them fresh from the tree.

This is just the 3rd season that they bear fruits after 15 years. I grew them from seeds so it took them that long before they give me fruits.
