I made pizza from scratch for dinner tonight. lately I have started making my own pizzas again and it is surprising how simple it is. I make my own crust and add the toppings. Of course the family prefers the homemade one rather than the store bought ones. How was your dinner or lunch?

A giant plate of leftover, chicken schnitzel, chips, burgers etc & a giant mug of hot tea. (Used to do pizza for the kids, these days, I just buy from Aldi, cheaper and simpler that way. I just add extra shredded cheese etc prior to oven them.)

I love pizza. Making the dough crust can be time consuming but you can make a bunch and just freeze them for future needs.

I use a very simple recipe for my crust and make it by hand so it is done in minutes.

@Freelanzer could you start a discussion about your recipe? That is not against the rules if you include the recipe in a discussion.

I think making a pizza is easier than bread. Since I have a bread machine at home, it is easier for me to make a pizza because I use the bread machine to make the dough. And then I put the bacon, tomato sauce and cheese on the top and it will be done. I even store it in the fridge so that it is like a frozen pizza from the supermarket. I can easily make it as breakfast next day.

I used to use the bread machine to make the dough but it takes too long so I do it by hand and its ready in minutes. You are right it is much easier than making bread

Dinner last night was a salad topped with massive amounts of shrimp scampi, dressed with a dressing made of guacamole, ranch and lemon juice. I need to get into doing my own pizza crusts, as hubby likes to top his own anyway. He just says making pizza crust is hard. I am not sure I believe him.

Great! I also found that I could make a better pizza and cheaper and with better ingredients and the family loved it. I have not yet had breakfast or lunch yet as I wasn't hungry but I will eat soon as my appetite is starting to form. Today I will eat only one meal.

Well the dough was flour, oil, salt, water and yeast. Toppings for the rest of the family was sliced meats. mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, cheese. I don't eat meat so I made a separate one for myself with ground tofu and vegan cheese and the rest of the stuff. I also had jalapenos on mine.
