Sunny Sunday

Good morning/afternoon/evening to all my friends here in the myLot world.
After all our storms yesterday today dawns bright and sunny. The sky is blue and it looks like a beautiful day ahead.
With the storms we had last night we didn't have a chance to fire up the old barbecue grill so we put that off til today. I have some chicken that's marinating which will delicious grilled and also zucchini and corn on the cob as our side dishes. Here it is early morning and I'm already thinking about dinner 
It's a long holiday weekend for many people here in the US with our big July 4th celebrating on Tuesday. Many people are off tomorrow and I feel bad for those who have to work and didn't get a long weekend.
I can see my neighbors behind me putting chairs and tables out on their lawn so I'm assuming they are having company today and doing a bbq.
There isn't much new here in my neck of the woods and I'm looking forward to a quiet day of relaxing. I'm always happy to myLot and of course read.

Yeah, I have some work related calls to make, but most of today I will be kicking back. I plan on coloring my hair.

I am glad that you are having a great Sunday. I attended mass this morning. After that, I visited my dentist for my ortho adjustment. I arrived home at lunch time. I finished an article for my blog, did a cardio exercise, chatted with my cousin and finally did my lesson plan for tomorrow.

Its really not bad for people to have to work on holiday weekends, as I'm sure most would rather make money thab get drunk and trashy.

I'm off to take care of a kitten for a friend who is out of town. Not only does she want me to feed and water it, clean the litter box etc, but to play with her for an hour or so.

My son in law did some grilling here in PA, I cooked the steak in a pan on the stove. lol It was for hubs and Brandon.
