Look at the kitchen sink. See any dirty dishes sprawling all over the sink? Feeling lazy to wash them? Wish that you had a magic wand to cast a spell and "Abracadabra" , those dishes are clean and piled up sparkling clean? Yeah, I wish I had the genie lamp now. Where can I buy one to get 3 wishes? Anyway, I had to wash those dirty dishes before the flies and ants coming for a party. Good day! photo belonged and taken by peachpurple

However tired,I always wash everything then and there,if not at least before going to bed.Waking up and looking at unwashed dishes in the morning is no fun.

3 of my grandchildren who are living with us help with the household chores like dish washing. It teaches them responsibility and work ethics.

@peachpurple _They take turns voluntarily. It's the way they were raise, sharing responsibilities and helping out when possible. Their studies still take precedence.

@peachpurple Oh you have got me there. I have just enough to buy me a few clothes at the moment so I guess I am not much help after all. But you can imagine that you have a Genie that does not cost anything.

I cannot say that I like to wash dishes, but if I had a magic lamp I would not waste a wish to have dishes washed, there are so many more important things to ask. Why not ask for a maid so that she does everything in the house?

Some days I don't feel like doing dishes either. Sometimes at the house, they will sit there for a day or two. When at college if I don't have a lot of them they will sit longer than that but they do get washed before they start to smell or grow things.

@peachpurple It isn't moss that grows it is mold that grows if dishes are set out dirty for too long the color of it depends on what was in the cup.

Doing such things does not bother me, but maybe because someone here is always pretty sure they get done and it is not my responsibility so much!

I think you had done it on time and didn't throw a fly and ant party. LOL. Just kidding. I wish we had lived in a world of Harry Potter where everything is magical and we can use our wands to do these kinds of chores. :-)
