We Made It to 1.9 M

On July 2nd, we had an event called "Miracle Giving 2017" and tagged it as One Campaign. The church aimed to reach one thousand members. There are around 500 active members - employees, students, professionals and out-of-school youths. As we grow, we need a new place that can accommodate us. And to reach One million pesos. A week before the campaign each networks were given brown envelopes. Each network leaders reiterated that we can give whatever amount. In other words, we give based on what our hearts desire. I prayed for signs and ask God to talk to me. He did - a day before July 2nd. He showed me why I should give - sacrificial giving. We gave based on what our hearts desire and what we are willing to give - not forced. After each services, (we currently have 3 services - 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM) members went to the front and dropped the envelopes. Around 9 PM, our senior pastor posted a long message on his FB page. He posted that we reached 1.8 M pesos. We were glad and praised God for the overflow. On July 9th, one of the associate pastors announced that there were additional funds that were given - so overall we have 1.9 M ($37,400+). Praise God!
