Threat of World War 3

America and North Korea has been on each other's throat lately. Leaders from both countries have exchanged hateful comments that even lead to North Korea declaring a missile attack on US territory, Guam. If this happens, other than of course many people will die, this will start a chain of events where world war 3 would be inevitable.
World War 2 just ended and many can still attest to how awful things were, the number of families torn apart, and many more. I really pray that it would not lead to that, because I really believe that if it does, that might probably be the cause of mankind's extinction and I am not ashamed to say that yes, I am afraid.

It is very scary, isn't it? Prayer is very important as we see all the Bible predictions coming to a climax. Luke 21:36 Easy-to-Read Version 36 So be ready all the time. Pray that you will be able to get through all these things that will happen and stand safe before the Son of Man.”

@JeeyanDee As I watch the news, I am also thinking of what lies ahead and what mankind will go through and as Jesus showed we will have to rely on prayer and a closeness to God as never before.
Matthew 24:21-22 Easy-to-Read Version
21 because it will be a time of great trouble. There will be more trouble than has ever happened since the beginning of the world. And nothing as bad as that will ever happen again.
22 “But God has decided to make that terrible time short. If it were not made short, no one would continue living. But God will make that time short to help the people he has chosen.

@1hopefulman Thank you for that and it made me feel at ease. I will always try to remember that when fear creeps into my heart.

Yes, I think 99. 9% of the people in the world are hoping that too.

Yes, we live in critical times..but it helps to read the Bible, as we know, that we can expect things like this.. Why not go to this site and check the publications there and read about the comforting news that Jesus and the other prophets told about.. God is in total control..
Here is one example:

@JeeyanDee We can keep praying for strength and wisdom.
Daniel's prophecy is fulfilling right now, and we are living during the last human world power, and the next will be God's Kingdom.. See chapter 2 verse 44

Thank you so much for reminding me. Even as a Christian with knowledge of this, one can't help but be afraid of the unknown too, so thank you. I needed that.

@JeeyanDee Well hopefully it won't be brought to the US but I feel we need to be prepared with food, staples, things like that. It could get to where we won't be able to buy things from the stores. One doesn't know what can happen and I want to be prepared with that kind of stuff. Especially water.
