Good morning.Have life taken you to a different direction. I was thinking about this and for me it has very much so. Yes life took me to a different direction. I started music school for two years and then came out of the closet. This put me in a different direction.Very much so. How about you.

@amadeo Yes, I wanted to be an architect when I was young, but when it was time to go to the University it was the year 1968, the year of University strikes and disorders in Europe. My dad said it was too dangerous and not a good place for a girl.

@TiarasOceanView I went to Berklee School of music in the fifties. I was interest in music arranging.I done nothing with it.So that plan fizzle out. At that time the school very small .Today is very huge .I could not recognize it.

There have been lots of decisions that I've made over the years that have affected the course of my life. I feel blessed and happy with my life, so I believe that I've made the right decisions for me. You seem happy Alfredo, you're in a loving, committed marriage and if your heart is happy then I think that you've made the right decisions along your path also.

My life is definitely different than I thought it would be and I'm still trying to figure which way to go with this retirement looming a head. A part of me says I'll extend a year and another says I'll retire but scare what will be after. My work has defined me for over 22 years. I know I can go on to something else but it's hard to look at it positive. I'm happy and sad. Scared and just tired.

I wouldn't say my life went in a different direction today but I can feel that I am more mature now as my priorities and views in life have changed. You coming out of the closet, was it solely your decision? Did you prepare before doing it? How?

For me I was going to pursue a career in nursing but got married, had children and only completed one full year before I had to quit. Life certainly went in a different direction for me but I'm happy where I am today

My life has had its share of twists, turns and surprises. My daughter is adopted and we did not know we would be her parents until we got a call one night that said, "We have a child for you, can you pick her up tomorrow?"
