I was in bed yesterday night, when suddenly the earthquake awoke me. I was in a safe área, away from buildings or other dangerous things, so I just let it pass. It stopped like 30 seconds after. Nobody was hurt in the neighborhood where I live, but I read this morning that yesterday´s earthquake cause the death of 30 and plus people in southern states. It was an 8.2 earthquake, it´s the strongest in my lifetime

Thanks, they are probably getting help at this time. The govermnment is better prepared for this types of natural events. Past earthquakes have taught a good lesson

I read about it this morning. That was a big one! Bigger than I have experienced, too. I'm really glad you and your area are okay.

That is really scary and sad. I saw yesterday when it happened. I was in Japan in 2011 when the 9.0 hit and I will never forget that experience. It made me realize I need to be prepared with water, food, a bag to grab with extra clothes, etc. Be safe and prepared, friend.

Thanks, that´s a good advise. In those kinds of disasters, one doesn´t know what is going to be needed; however, food and wáter are going to be necessary. I hope it doesn´t hit as strong the next time

We have not had any major earthquake in a long while here. I hope it stays that way. I have felt tremors and a few seconds of it can seem like minutes. I am sorry to hear about the casualties. It just seem crazy that all these disasters are happening one behind the other. Stay safe.

Thanks. Yes, they are occurring very often these days. That´s how this planet is in the present. I read there are more hurricanes hitting the coasts, these can bring lots of wáter in my área and cause floodings

It´s too bad that some regions in Mexico don´t have strong houses or buildings. I wish the government do something about it. In my neighborhood, I didn´t hear anything about damaged houses or buildings
