Was there a draft feature at Mylot before? I found it very helpful when I was on Bubblews. I would write my posts at my convenience leave them in draft and post at a time which was convenient for me. I think it would be nice to have that feature here - what do you say?

I'm so much in favor of draft and I find it very helpful.

@ilocosboy, we can still do it through saving our drafts in word docs. That is what I am doing to have an advanced draft.

@cacay1 I prefer doing everything at one spot if possible.

I remember that feature. I never used it, but found a couple of my posts got there by accident and that caused problems. I'm sure it would be convenient for some people, but I would never use it.

I donĀ“t remember. But as the new mylot does not pay for the number of posts you write, maybe it is not necessary.

@Kandae11 We can write it in Word and then copy-paste.

You're right, it's a great idea. My ideas often come in groups but I don't want to poat them all at once.

That happens to me too. Also with my post in draft I could do a quick check of the recent discussions to see if there is a post on the same topic as mine. If there is , I would hold mine for a later date.

I am not aware of any draft feature available on mylot. I think there is not any need of a draft feature, as one has the facility to edit his discussions/responses/comments and it could be done any time and any number of times.

@Kandae11 I do not think there is any option on mylot to store your post as a draft. I think there is not any need to store the draft on mylot. You could do it on a Word file and change it later (as per your requirement) and could then copy and paste it.

@Kandae11 Yes, you are right that it might have been easier for you at Bubblews to submit your draft, whenever you wanted.
@Kandae11 (55131)
26 Sep 17
@dpk262006 I know that option isn't here, I was recalling that I used it at Bubblews and how easy it was. I didn't have to go off site everything was right there. When I was ready - all I did was press send.

I don't put my draft like that in Bubblews. Instead, I make my draft on word and copy and paste it, when it's time for me to submit a new post. Until now, it's still my style. Once I have submitted it, I would copy the url of that post and copy and paste it beside the title then I cut it and paste it in my Posted Posts word.

@Kandae11 It's my way of keeping my posts. When Bubblews closed, I still had all my posts in my word document complete with the URL. So, I tried tracking them with the URL's but they were all gone, only for some.

I liked that in bubblews as well, although a lot of the time I ended up with loads of drafts and no mental energy to turn them into posts. My account became just as untidy as my mind

@Kandae11 See I used it for first drafts, if I've got a post fully written then I just post it whenever it's ready

I do not think there was a draft feature. I type all my discussions in a text editor and save them on my computer. It's enough to copy and paste the text when I am ready to publish.

@Kandae11 I never used the draft feature in Bubblews, I always used a text editor and all my 1,450 posts are here in my computer. If I used their feature I would have nothing.

@LadyDuck At Mylot I won't be losing anything because I have transferred all of my posts to files in my computer. I neglected to do that with all of my posts at Bubblews - which was my first online writing site - so I was new to everything.

it is easier with a draft section on site, but it is our prerogative to stick with whatever we feel comfortable with - no problem.

I don't know. I never used that draft feature a lot at B, and here, it is a matter of writing quick and get out. (or I would change my mind and delete it. I did that a number of times now.)

@Kandae11 I don't know, things seem to change with times. Like one second, I thought I could make a post like that and that, and half an hour later, I thought, 'no way!' Do you call that getting cold feet? I thought it was more of a 'cautious' approach .

Not as far as I can remember, would be a cool feature, but do not ask them for to many changes because do not want days on end where the site is down like Bubblews was.

@Kandae11 Yeah, most seem to have it and I did use it on Bubblews , but not that often to where I miss it that much. I do know many like to write ideas of future posts like that. Would be cool in that regard.

I don't need a draft feature on any of these kinds of sites. I use my computer to hold my content. And I also use a journal site called PENZU.

i think it is better to make the draft on MS word. it gets saved and if we plan to post it, just some keys on the board and it is done.
