This morning I have a cup of crysanthemum tea after getting up. I bought a box of it two days ago at the drugstore when I went there to buy medicine for my allergy. My boyfriend suggested me to buy the medicine, but unfortunately it's unavailable in my city. Well, instead of buying nothing, I finally bought the crysanthemum tea. The crysanthemum tea tastes good, and helps me relax myself before I start doing my morning chores. I don't know much about the health benefits this drink has got in it. But as far as I know, it is used to treat asthma, stomachache due to having periods, fever, cold, headache, dizziness, and swelling. So, I think this drink can help us maintaining our body health. Have you ever tried this drink? The picture is the crysanthemum drink I've just made a cup of it.

Is it made of the root of chrisanthemum? If so I think we call it gobo in Japan, and I've seen it but not tried it.

Unluckily, teas are not popular in my country. It is all commercialized. But then, I think it is healthy to have them in our system.

I have tried similar type of tea, we say here hibiscus tea.. ,very popular in some parts of India. We use dried petals of hibiscus and soak them sometime in hot water and then we have it. As per locals it cleanses our system.

I don't think hibiscus is similar to crysanthemum. But, i believe both hibiscus and crysanthemum teas are good for our system.

@wongchoiyee Soda contains high calories. You can gain weight easily if you drink soda so often.

For that question I have to search for the answer from internet. Lol. The dried flowers are made into powder, then are mixed with sugar before they are ready to be packed. I think that is the way this drink is produced.

I don't think so. Green tea is made of leaves, but the crusanthemum tea is made of dried flower named crysanthemum.
