Today it was cool and cloudy all day. Just as school finished and the students came out the door, it was just like somebody turned on the shower! Wow, it is really raining hard now!
It usually rains hard in Japan in the rainy season (June through mid-July) and during typhoons. Right now is typhoon season (October-November) but there are no typhoons around right now. I think our times of the most rain happen when the cool air from the north meets the humid air from over the Pacific in the spring and the fall. It is usually dry and cold in winter, and hot and humid but not too rainy in the summer (July and August).
When do you get the most rain? Do you have seasons? We have five: spring, rainy, summer, fall, and winter!

yes, in my area, we usually get rainy season from April to September. And you guess what?! Only 2 seasons we get: summer and winter. Other seasons? Not really feeling their coming.
