Is stealing ever ok?

On the train home from work this morning, I overheard two young girls laughing and joking about the things they have stolen from their work. Stationary, a vase, toiletries and an expensive paperweight. One of them was saying that it's fine, because she was stealing from "a big company, not a real person". I felt so disgusted.

I can’t believe that they think it’s okay. Stealing is stealing, no matter what.

No, it's never okay to steal from anyone, especially not the company you work for.

Stealing is taking something that belongs to someone else. Stealing is a crime no matter whom we steal from and what we steal. That's what I think. What do you think?

It's a shame she feels like this. It is never okay to steal - from anyone, private individual or company.

@YesWay Often it doesn't seem like the parents. It seems some expect teachers to instil morals, manners and everything else to their children.

This is all about mentality. The person who is stealing because of poverty I might ever forgive him/her but one who is doing this just for fun, I can never forgive that person. Stealing is Stealing, be it big things or a smaller one. And I rally hate this kind of people. There behavior shows there education and culture.

Its not okay no. I suppose to them it must be some kind of victory and trophy too every time they pick something up that is not theirs. I once picked up some change they gave me and realized that they had given me too much change so I gave it back to him and he was totally surprised that i had done so. After all that part of the money belonged to him and not to me and I did not feel any glee or happiness taking that kind of money that was not mine home.

Stealing is really a very bad habit. If you want to take something from others, you must get their permission ,and they should allow you to have it, then it is okay. But if you take it without their permission then it is stealing. Let it a company or a person,if you want anything you should ask them first. That is the right way to do...
@YesWay (3674)

@rubyriaz007 You are absolutely right
