My family was visiting with my parents about 5 years ago. I was upstairs in the office on the computer. My oldest daughter came running up the stairs and said... The lady needs your help! I was confused since the only ones in the house were my kids and I at the time. I went downstairs and saw the rocking chair rocking gently as if a woman was rocking her baby to sleep.
My daughter said the lady was sitting in the chair but she's mad that you wouldn't help make her baby stop crying! At that moment I felt something go through me which came with chills and goosebumps all over my body.
Ever since that day where ever we move I hear a baby crying when mine are happy or sleeping. It follows me everywhere we move...

@Ladyduck It's not threatening or anything, if it was harmful I would call a priest.

@LovingMyBabies agreed. When I first moved into my house, already knowing the age of my home and hearing stories of gang murders happening (all researched and false, of course), I definitely wanted to get a sense of what, if anything did exist in my home and whether or not I felt it was sinister or harmful. I entered alone, quietly at night, with burning sage of course, and just kind of tried to project a thought out to the house around me that hey, you don't bother me, I don't bother you. Had I gotten that ball to the drop of the stomach type feeling, I don't think I would necessarily have called a priest--- I just would not have moved in.

Oooo... scarey! Did your daughter describe the "lady"? If she's still following you around, then she still wants your help. If you can figure out who she was and what was making the baby cry, she'll leave you alone.

Somewhere you got a spirit. They do follow people sometimes. One reason the Ouija board is so scary. You need to ask her to leave. Maybe do a sage burning and ask her to go.

@celticeagle Well, it's not a scary presence or anything. I don't feel threatened. I have just gotten used to it mostly.

There are pastors who do Christian deliverance, healing and house cleansing ministries perhaps you can go find one, I'm only recommending it to you since since we share the same faith I have had so many experiences with hauntings myself.

@LovingMyBabies there is a line of thought that believes that when a portal is open that it might invite more malevolent entities to come in, I really pray and hope that this is not true or does not happen.

How intriguing! Spirits can attach themselves to you and follow you when you move. (I am always afraid the malicious spirits from my childhood home will find me, and I don't like going near the old house I used to live in for that reason.) They say young children are more perceptive to the spirit world because they are still close to the other side. Some lose the ability as they get older as they get more caught up in life. Was that the only time your daughter ever saw something like that?
**Edited to add: I just read through the comments and see you are already aware of these things; I only mentioned it because some people aren't.

@Srbageldog Yes, this spirit of a baby has followed me for years now. My daughter has seen many spirits, just like I have-especially during childhood.

@Marilynda1225 I'm not sure who she is but my daughter described her clothes and they sounded very old fashioned. I'm guessing war time?

That is scary, but also amazing. Children do have a six sense and it shows how innocent they are to be able to see these things in another plane of our world. My nieces always saw the lullaby lady in my dad's house. I knew she was there because I saw her when I was a kid and still saw her occasionally. I learned about paranormal when I was little so these things ever scared me, I thought it was a beautiful situation. Little prayers can help send these entities to the other side.

That is rather creepy. Has anyone else ever experienced this at your parent's house? Does anyone know the history of the house?

@Shellyann36 Not that exact thing but both of my parents have seen spirits in that house. My dad looked it up and there is a lot of history very close to their home.

@thelme55 Not necessarily, many kids see ghosts then get older and don't anymore.
I rarely ever see ghosts now but I did as a child and I do hear them still.

@LovingMyBabies before, I didn't believe that there is a ghost but since I have experienced to see and feel twice in the last few years, I now believe about their existence.

Jennifer, it sounds like the ghost picked your body to go into. Was that something you were dreaming or did your child really come up to where you were and say what she said?

So do you think the lady is punishing you for not getting the baby to cry and so she follows you wherever you go?

Did you look into the history of your house? I totally believe in spirits and my house was built in 1928. In my second floor attic at night I would hear children playing. I searched high and low for answers as to the history of this house, and really didn't find much of anything on children or people dying in my house. But, turns out, the year before my house was built, in 1927, was the worst hurricane New Smyrna Beach had ever seen. And do you know what was standing (and then blown) away, right here where my house now sits?? An orphan asylum. So I'm curious in your situation, only because of my own feelings on spirits and how they come to reside wherever there are, if there were any deaths in your home of a mother or her child, or both.
