Are Your Images Free To Use?

I have no idea if I am supposed to credit where I get my images from. I see some people do and others do not. Some of the images I use belong to me. The other images that I use come from two sites. Pixabay and Pexels. I look for images that are free to use and do not have a copy write on. The image I used for my discussion about Bunny Chow came from Wikipedia which was also a free to use image. Where do you get your images from and are we supposed to credit the images? I have read through the terms and conditions and the guidelines, and have not seen anything mentioned about it.

If they are from pixabay or a site like that with royalty free images you don't need to give credit but I usually do anyway.

I use my own photos most times and sometimes I donĀ“t use any. Sometimes I will put a youtube video in at the end of the post. If I had to credit an image that was not mine I would if they put their name on it.

@Chantiele I have a lot of photos just general ones of around here and flowers and trees. Not much else to take photos of really. If you need a photo of a flower of something I can send you one if you get really stuck for whatever.

I often credited them when ever I use a foreign picture.

I always tend to credit my images - just to be safe. :-)

@Chantiele Most of the time I use my own photos, a link to a Youtube video, but in cases where I'm usuing someone else's photo - I go to Pixabay :-)

Yes, I use Pixabay and Pexels too. Also occasionally Wikipedia. I do credit the source, although on Pixabay and Pexels they don't require it.

usually pixaby or my own. if it's from pixabay, i put the link to the actual page. if it's my own, i put a watermark. but that's just me, how i prefer to do it.

That is an interesting way to do it. I never thought of using a watermark on my images

its more safe and most proper if you also give credits where your photo came from. I used my own photo and I always stated that in the last part of my discussions, unless when I forget it.
