Favoritism

My son is my favorite. Why, because he is my one and only son. Hahaha!
Good morning to us all, my fellow myLotters, how are you this rainy 1st day of November?
Here at home, somebody is playing favorites to something. She is none other than my sister. You may ask who her favorite is, when we are only 3 at home. Me. I am her favorite sister because we are only 2 female offspring of our parents.
Seriously, she is having a favorite among the dogs in our house. You might ask who; I would reply not any of our own pet dogs, but that alpha male wannabe, Sydney. My sister sometimes baby-talks to Sydney who is fierce to me but gentle to her, but when she talks to our pet dogs at home, there is no care of concern in her voice. I and my son always gaze at each other because of this attitude of my sister.
She prepares the food of Sydney and Chibi and I prepare the food of the remaining dogs. I keep my distance to Sydney because she bit me twice already.
Do you have a favorite among your pets at home? How do you deal with them?
Incidentally, this is my 501st discussion.

Even my mother, Perry is her favorite. I also like our other cats and dogs but Perry is really special..

we have a dog. i show more concern to her, and i play with her. but she's superexcited when she sees my brother or his family. maybe it's because she stayed there a bit before being brought here.

@ridingbet actually, i didn't want another pet anymore since i'm the one doing most of the work and spending on the vet. but they still went ahead and, ironically, the ones who want a dog are the ones who don't care enough and it's unfair to the dog.

@hereandthere oh, why don't they care about the dog? they should be the one to be good to their pet, and not leave the responsibilities to you.

we should never be envious if somebody is the favorite of another. for me, becoming a favorite will give that person more responsibilities to live up to the expectation to the one who favors him or her.

There is only Missy Daisy by us, So, no favouritism. Your sister needs to help you to treat all the dogs fairly, because that way the dogs won't be jealous of each other, it is dangerous when dogs get jealous, she must be careful with such favouritism.

i agree with you. at this very hour, Sydney is here again, and my sister is once again baby-talking to him. Macy and Xander, the Japanese Spitz siblings are here too, and they seem to not mind Sydney anymore.
