Time for me to Get Back to Writing

@just4him December 4th to April 4th. I relish every moment there. The condo is fine, but can't wait for the view, the weather, going out with our friends and family, and of course shopping. However, I miss those at home severely.

@DianneN I know you do. For some reason, I thought you were in Connecticut for Christmas and New Year's and then went down. Okay, my flawed memory has been rebooted.

When are you leaving? I thought you were staying until Christmas. I know you're looking forward to getting back there, and I'm sure you want to see the apartment, even though your neighbor has taken good care of it for you.

The pool is first thing in the morning, before dawn has crept over the horizon. It's a great time to swim.

@just4him I had two guys during the summer, but one got a different job and quit coming to work. The other one I fired the end of September since he wasn't doing the job right any longer. He went from working every other week to every week and I think it was too much for him somehow. It took three more weeks to find someone else. Actually, I sort of found the person the beginning of Oct, but he was hoping to get a full time job or one with more hours through the winter months instead. I hired his wife and he decided to come work for us after all. Thus far, he's been a great addition to our team and I hope he stays. I've done nano two or three times. Once I began a novel which is still sitting on the back burner collecting dust. The other times I used posts on bubblews rather than doing a book.

@MarshaMusselman I thought I had read that you hired that guy and he's great with the ladder and upper windows. This is my third time doing NaNo. I've won the other two times. Somehow I think I've done it three times. I would need to look at my list of books, which are all on the back burner. This one I'm doing now isn't going on the back burner when November is done. This one has me hooked into what's going to happen next.

Thank you. Then maybe I should use it for my future books. I'm not a rebel. I started it the first of the month. I'm more than halfway through now. So this is a rough draft, very rough. I'm doing my best to quash my inner editor. For the most part it's working. I thought you had a guy who could do the higher windows.

There's a gentleman who swims at 5 also. As cold as it was, he arrived in shorts and sandals.

No, the book, New Horizons, isn't finished yet. Yes, I swim at the YWCA. It's only 3 miles from home. Yes, I swim all year round, though with the wind chills as bad as they have been, I haven't been to the Y this week.

@Hannihar I will be going back on Tuesday. I know the wind chills will still be brutal, but I don't want to waste my membership, and I need the exercise. I also love the people who are there that early.

@just4him Valerie, I can understand why you have not been swimming with the wind chills being bad.
