Chocolate Fried chicken?

Calgary, Alberta
November 13, 2017 5:19pm CST
I am not sure if I am going to like this abomination or not. I had experienced a KFC chicken with cheese, KFC chicken sandwich with chicken as the bread but I never expected them to do something like this....If I am a Robot my system will malfunction because this thing does not compute. Is this something You would try? KFC, what are you thinking?

@CaptAlbertWhisker Now "mole" I can understand . . . but not something as sweet like a syrup for ice cream. At that point they might as well top it with whipped cream - and sprinkles .

@much2say This may sound silly, But Vanilla icecream makes awesome fried chicken marinade.

It might be a savory chocolate like Mole, but I heard the chocolate they use is a syrup.

I know many people have violent reaction to Hawaiian Pizza, but this one makes Hawaiian Pizza looks normal.

@averygirl72 Hawaiian Pizza was controversial when it was launched not by Hawaii but by Canada. it is a Canadian recipe hated by Italians.

No. I’ve had chicken molé with a spicy chocolate sauce but you couldn’t tell it was chocolate. What a waste of chocolate, KFC....

I think Mole is acceptable because it is a savory stew with chocolate on it. This one is on a fried chicken and the chocolate they use looks like a syrup.

What an interesting mixing. However, I may not be interested in it since the chocolate is sweet and the fried chicken is salty.

It seemed to be inspired by the Mexican dish Mole, It is a Turkey stewed on savory chocolate. This KFC one looks like a syrup.

I heard about this, it was recently offered at a KFC in Jakarta... I don't think I will be trying it though... Even spicy chocolate or chili-flavored dark chocolate on its own is not something I like to try - let alone having it on top of a fried chicken...
