If someone is being rude to you, you should make that person know that you're not the type of person he/she can treat that way. Not by being rude too, of course. Try to explain to that person that you can only go so far. Tell the person that you don't like the way he/she's talking to you without being sarcastic because if you do, you'll only show him that you deserve to be treated that way. Act like a real adult. If he/she doesn't stop then have nothing to do with him/her anymore. Say goodbye right off.

Hun the best thing to do is let them know what your thinking. If you don't you'll be sitting there gritting your teeth for the rest of the day for no good reason, You don't need the stress, and they need to know that they can't get away with it. Don't allow yourself to be put in that kind of situation, and if you are, make sure you stand up for yourself, because there's nothing worse than how you feel when you don't. Hope this helps.
Peace and love be with you
Happy new Year 2007

If you're meaning telemarketers, I'll ask them for their name and companies name and ask them to remove me from their calling list. If it's family or friends, I'll try to figure out why their being rude in the first place and make it right. If that's not possible, I'll say something like, "I better let you go for now, I'll talk with you later, bye" and hang up. If it's anyone else in this crazy world just being rude to me....I just hang up the phone or don't answer it if I don't recognize the caller id number. Solves that! lol

Well let's see, besides not answering the phone and letting the answering machine get it, if I actually do answer it and am bothered, I tell them I am either out of work, disabled, or about to leave the house and don't have time...
All are true in my case, so that way I am not lying...
But the old I am on my way out is good for anything...

It depends upon the situation, you will use different approaches if your the one being called or your the one who's calling. Now if someone calls you and he/she is rude..then simply hung the phone. But if your the one who's calling and the person your callin is rude..then still be polite.
