Nudity on Netflix and other things

My boyfriend came over last night. I was starving and hadn’t had time to make myself dinner yet (I made my kids dinner first and then had to take care of the puppy). He walked in with his dog and son and Pizza again. He knows how much my little 110 pound body loves food. The puppy and his dog were so happy as always to play together. Unfortunately his dog is still in heat a week later so more clean up for me ugh. They didn’t know she was still creating a mess so I’m grossed out thinking how yucky their carpet must be. I banned her to the rooms without carpenting in my house as it’s easier to clean up. So my boyfriend and I were really bored and decided to look for something to watch on Netflix. First show we starting watching “Love” and within 5 minutes the characters were getting intimate. My son saw and started crying and I couldn’t help laughing as I looked for something else to watch. Next show I don’t remember the name but thank god he didn’t notice as there was actual nudity this time in the scene where they were getting intimate. It paused the scene as I was frantically trying to go back and get out of that show lol We wound up watching two episodes of Carrie Dairies and it was boring. I just cannot find anything I like on Netflix and keeping it PG since my son was in the room made it even harder. Picture is of my sweet puppy cuddling with me on the pull out couch a week ago. I thought it was cute with the Christmas tree in the background.

What a lovely photo of your sweet pup and the Christmas tree so festive. I love pizza, yum. It really is tough to find something every one can watch these days.

Aw! Netflix does seem to have limited options on the surface, but there are a lot of good things on there once you look into it more. The series Alias Grace is pretty cool, slow at first but the story is outstanding in how its portrayed. The ending shocked me. It also just depends on your taste in shows and movies. I hope you find something worth watching soon!

I saw someone mention Alias Grace on Facebook but don’t recall what it is about. My boyfriend likes comedy things and I like crime stuff.

@shaggin Then you definitely might like this show. Its about this woman who murders two people, and is telling her life story and what lead up to those murders, also trying to be deemed not guilty in the process.. It has a twist at the end. I don't want to give anything away, in case you do watch it. I normally don't like to watch shows like that but I couldn't stop watching. I think there's only 1 season so it is short, maybe 11 episodes that are a hour long each. Needless to say I finished it in 2 days.

I actually do have a free trial of prime right now but we were watching on my Blu-ray player and that only works for dvds and Netflix etc. it’s set up for YouTube and one other but when we tried YouTube on it the sound quality was all garbled.

I think there's an option there that either you or kids will be watching. I wouldn't watch anything if there's a kid beside me. Cute dog btw.

I used to always prewatch movies to make sure they were safe but being that they are 13 and 10 I haven't worried as much about sheltering them. I do get up now and look at the ratings before pushing play because what seems like it will be a nice movie may not be!

I can imagine it can be hard to find something that you'd all like to watch.

That puppy is so cute. It can be very embarrassing when scenes like that come on and children are in the room. To be on the safe side - best to choose PG movies when they are around.

My tv is small and I couldn’t see the words to see the rating from the couch. Next time I will walk across the room and check the rating before pushing play!
